Russia Fasting Clinic

Brisante fasting studies | Fasting Studies In Russia

We are advised at an impasse in Western society: civilization diseases and chronic diseases increase. The medications that are prescribed by the doctors can treat at most, do not heal. The side effects of the medication necessitate additional medication. From 5 drugs, no one – not even the doctors – can predict how the interactions will turn out. My neighbor above gets 10 different. It is said that this is normal from the retirement age!

In Siberia has been an integral part of the state health system for 15 years. In the fasting clinics come the patients who are considered to have “exhausted”, where the medicine has given up. Because during the Soviet era, an impressive large study with thousands of patients and with a term of 40 years on the subject of fasting. The results of the study are equally impressive: only they were never translated in the Iron Curtain. The 10,000 patient records are stored in Russian libraries and form the basis of fasting as a state health measure, “the last hope” for the chronically ill. After one or more fasting cures in 2/3 of the patients all symptoms of asthma, hypertension, diabetes, rheumatism and allergies were and are gone.

RLet’s go back in time to understand the birth of the Great Russian fasting study: We are in the 1950s at Korsakov Psychiatric Hospital in Moscow. The psychiatrist Prof. Yuri Nikolayev renounces the force-feeding of a patient who refuses food, which otherwise, in addition to straitjacket and sedation belongs to the “therapy”. He trusted the patient. The man not only began to talk, move, and eat after some time, but he was well. Nikolayev continued experimenting with fasting with other patients. The success exceeded all expectations. He successfully treated depressives, phobics, and schizophrenics by fasting them for an average of 25 days. The cure was simple and has remained until today: nothing but water! He noted with surprise, that not only the mental illnesses healed, but also physical illnesses. The rest of the medical profession in Russia considered him a spinner and fundamentally rejected the methodology because they did not understand how the evil name “hunger” could produce something good except suffering. Nikolayev, however, had experienced the healing successes and therefore launched an extensive research project that should silence the critics and write history. 8000 patients participated. Result: Fasting is sedative (calming) and antidepressant in 70% of patients. 6 years later, that was still 47%! Again, he observed that additional chronic diseases healed. Nikolayev informed the authorities. This was skeptical of the results and again initiated an even more comprehensive study! A number of renowned physicians (including Prof. Kokosov and Prof. Maximov) were condemned by the military (!) To review the results. Again, however, thousands of patients participated. The doctors finally confirmed Nikolayev’s original experience and study, although they could not explain why and how fasting can reverse both mental and chronic diseases. One theory was that fasting was stress for the body. But this stress triggers the self-healing abilities that would be suppressed by our normal way of life. What we do know is that fasting triggers some sort of alarm in the body, which in turn releases hormones like adrenaline, glucagon, and cortisol.

So far, no European state has funded (or translated) such research. The pharmaceutical industry shows restraint – a free miracle pill called fasting? This cannot make money, but you also lose “customers” because they are healthy.

Dr. Michalsen of the Charité in Berlin is one of the few in Germany fighting a lonely and little noticed fight to place fasting on the map of our consciousness. He treats metabolic diseases with fasting. He notes in the film “Fasting and healing”, without knowing the studies from the Soviet Union, that fasting releases serotonin (happiness hormones), has an anti-pain effect, and increases the sensitivity of the insulin receptors (eliminating diabetes). “If I had developed a new drug, with these effects, my phone would not stand still … you would overwhelm us with funding,” says the chief physician in the film interview. Fasting is not (financially) interesting. At the same time, the critical voices do not tire

Dr. Michalsen continues in the movie “Historically, it is not normal for us to have regular meals and a full refrigerator. The body is more likely to have a problem if we are NOT fasting. “Deficiency tolerates the body better than abundance. The question that can be asked is: does the fast reactivate ur-old reflexes?

Dr. Valter Longo dared to pursue this question, although he had much resistance at his workplace (University of California). Finally, he persuaded a few young scientists to participate. Their noble goal: to curb cancer and chronic diseases! Many studies have shown so far: An animal that does not eat much, lives longer. Dr. Longo’s team now wanted to find out if fasting also helped against the nasty side effects of toxic chemotherapy. Both groups of mice received twice the dose of chemo, which is really life threatening. The experimental series with mice showed:

Starvation does not weaken the organism, but STRENGTHS it against poisons, like chemo. Only the fasting mice survived the chemo.

Die test series was repeated in other laboratories around the world to be sure. The result was the same every time. The result is in contrast to the instruction to patients to eat a lot of food before chemo. And speaking of humans, the clinical trial has begun, but it will take 10 years to complete. Some do not have that much time!

Dr. Valter Longo and dr. Tanya Dorff suspect that the cell switches to protection mode during fasting. The cancer cell cannot do that because it has mutated. It can survive only if it gets to eat glucose – and does not have the primal reflex of the healthy cell, which can switch to ketosis (make glucose out of fat). Fasting also weakens the cancer cells in one way or another without chemo! If you choose chemo, the body gets much better (!) With the life-threatening poison by fasting.

Clear that Dr. At a congress, Longo urged pharmaceutical industry representatives to develop a drug that is as effective as or even more effective against cancer, such as fasting. That was in 2010. It did not happen much except that the “recommendation” of 3 cycles of chemotherapy was increased to 5 (!).

In Hippocrates, the Hippocrates, whose oath is decoratively hung in the treatment room at most orthodox medical schools, there is a clear sentence for fasting: “Be moderate in everything, breathe clean air, do daily skin care and body exercise … and heal a little pain sooner by fasting than by medicine.”
